Tak Ming holds an MBA (HRD) (1st in order of merit) from the University of Hull, England and a BSc Ed (Hons) from the University of Malaya. Tak Ming also obtained a Certificate in Training Management.
Tak Ming has a total of 24 years' working experience, 19 in middle to senior management.
His work experience spanned four different industries – the education sector as an academician/administrator for 5 years, and the finance and then construction/property development sectors as a Human Resource Practitioner for 16 years and now the people management consultation business the last 3 years.
Tak Ming joined Human Dynamic Asia Pacific in Sept 2005 as the Managing Director, ASEAN, Australia and NZ and is responsible for the overall business development and operation of the Group for the region.
He has vast experience in strategic HRM, HRD and Organizational Development initiatives having been General Manager, HR & Admin for a large public listed Group in Malaysia for many years and having held people management and training functions in various other highly regarded Malaysian and Singaporean corporations. Areas of expertise included performance management system, corporate culture & value, e-HR initiative, High Potential Employee Career Planning & Development, Employee Coaching, Competency-based Training & Development, succession planning and talent management, strategic organization growth and development, etc. He is a preferred working partner for senior management and associations of employers on human resource issues. He was HR advisor to the Master-builders Association of Malaysia, an association of construction-related companies in Malaysia.
He is a highly sought after speaker for both local and regional public conferences especially in the areas of HRM and OD. He has also taught the HR modules of several MBA programmes in Malaysia. Tak Ming has been a trainer and team building specialist for various in-company workshops. His preferred training methodology is the Experiential Learning Model and he has used this approach successfully in Team-Building, Change Management, Leadership Development and Cultural Change programs with a wide range of corporate clients both local and multi-nationals. He has also provided training workshops and talks in various other areas of people management including: Performance Management, Effective Coaching, Effective Presentation Skills, Training the Trainer, Internal Coaching Program, Customer Service etc. Examples of corporations he has worked with are: EON Bank, BP Asia Pacific, DHL, Dow Chemical, Gamuda, IBM, Intel, Kimberly Clark, Master Builder Association of Malaysia, Optimal, Sunrise etc.
Tak Ming has been certified as a licensed facilitator to train the Coaching Clinic program of Corporate Coach U International, a leading global provider of business and corporate coach training programs and corporate coaching services. He is also currently in the process of certification to become a Wellness Coach, under Wellcoaches Corporation which is recognised by the American College of Sport Medicine and the International Coach Federation. As a seasoned and respected HR practitioner, he has wide experience coaching and counseling younger HR practitioners, line managers and senior management staff in areas of developing, managing and guiding team members. He also has extensive experience providing career and life coaching to young graduates.

KEVIN MENON |

Kevin holds a Bachelors (Hons) in Psychology and a Master of Clinical Psychology from Western Australia. Kevin has provided psychological services for Mount Elizabeth Hospital where he worked as part of a team that provided clinical assessments, individual and group therapy for both inpatients and outpatients of varying ages. He has also provided psychological services for a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre, psychological clinic (Perth); the Disability Services Commission (Perth); and Occupational Services Australia (OSA Group) - an Australian Employee Assistance Program (HDAP) provider. Professionally, he is a Registered Psychologist (Singapore), a member of the Singapore Psychological Society and a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
As Chief Practice Officer, Kevin heads the Practice Department for HDAP that governs delivery of its consulting services for clients across the Asia Pacific to ensure quality and adherence to practice standards. He is also a principal consultant working with clients on various consultation and training projects to facilitate enhanced personal and organizational effectiveness. He was recently called upon to conduct a presentation on Crisis Care Management in the wake of the Tsunami at the APEAR conference in Shanghai.

Serene Yeo is the Singapore Diversity, Learning and eConnect Leader in IBM. Her responsibilities include driving all diversity initiatives that contribute to building a diverse pipeline at all levels, and identifying and driving actions that address employee issues and improve employee commitment.
Prior to her current role, Serene worked closely with the Global Business Services (GBS) ASEAN HR Partner in designing and delivering strategic programs to the GBS community with a focus on talent management and employee training. As the HR Advisor to the GBS Singapore Managing Partner, she also supported the leadership team through reports and analyses in order to identify people concerns and facilitate decision making.

Victor was appointed Head, Custody and Clearing Singapore in April 2006 and leads an award winning team that provides sub-custodial services to financial institutions in Australasia, Europe, Japan and the USA. Currently in his 17th year with HSBC Singapore, Victor has exclusively served institutional clients in a variety of roles during this time.
2008 sees Victor celebrating 26 years of living and working in South East Asia. He spent the first 9 serving consumer, commercial and corporate banking clients in Brunei Darussalam, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
Victor graduated from the University of London, U.K. with a Master of Arts degree (Area Studies – Eastern Europe) in 1981. He has been happily married for over 22 years.
